Board of Trustees

The Kilgore College Board of Trustees is the elected governing body of Kilgore College. The Trustees, in collaboration with the College President, are entrusted with the responsibility of establishing the vision, mission and direction for Kilgore College. In addition, the Board develops goals and policies consistent with KC’s mission, supports the college’s continued growth and success, provides rigorous financial oversight, utilizes data to make strategic decisions to improve KC, and promotes educational excellence at Kilgore College.

Monday, Feb. 16, 2026: The KC Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the second floor of the McLaurin Administration Building.

KC accepting applications to fill board of trustees vacancy

Kilgore College is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees following the resignation of Lon Ford. Ford represented the Central Zone, which includes the Kilgore Independent School District.

The individual appointed to this position will serve through the general election in May of 2029, and will be eligible to run for election at that time.
