TRIO PROGRAMS AT KC

Kilgore College’s federally funded TRIO Programs provide personalized support, guidance, and educational resources that help eligible participants prepare for, enroll in, succeed in, and complete postsecondary education. Through Upward Bound (UB), Student Support Services (SSS), and the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), TRIO supports participants at every stage of their educational journey.

Since 2001, Kilgore College’s TRIO Programs have helped individuals across East Texas overcome barriers to higher education by providing academic support, college and career guidance, and connections to resources that promote educational and career success. Today, the programs serve more than 1,000 participants each year.
