Kilgore College held two commencements May 8, awarding 478 graduates with 537 degrees and certificates.
The 2 p.m. ceremony was for students graduating with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or students earning a certificate.
At 6 p.m., the graduation was for students earning an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) or an Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree.

KC presents Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for student, alumni success
In lieu of graduation speakers, KC presented Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for Alumni Success and Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for Student Success.
At the 2 p.m. ceremony, the recipient of the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Alumni Success was Saudia Roundtree and the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Student Success was SheriffMaxey Cerliano.
For the 6 p.m. ceremony, the recipient of the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Alumni Success was Dr. Wynn Rosser and the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Student Success was Bettye H. Craddock.
