About Physics

Physics courses at Kilgore College are designed to support students at every level of academic success, whether completing laboratory science requirements for university transfer or supporting technical and certification pathways. KC’s physics courses meet ACGM guidelines and are accepted at all Texas public universities.

All physics courses are offered in flexible formats, including fully online eight-week courses and hybrid options that combine online instruction with face-to-face or live video interaction, helping students balance coursework with busy schedules.

Dual credit physics courses for qualified high school students include PHYS 1401 in the fall and PHYS 1402 in the spring. These 16-week online courses are available to students who have completed Algebra II and/or Pre-Calculus.
