The Kilgore College School of Nursing has been providing quality nursing education to this community since 1969. We believe the purpose of nursing education is to facilitate excellence by preparing graduates with the knowledge and skills for licensure in a rapidly changing profession in a variety of structured healthcare settings in a technological age.
Kilgore College Nursing offers three different tracks for students to select from: Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Vocational Nursing (VN certificate) and LVN-to-RN/Paramedic-to-RN (ADN Bridge pathway).

Registered Nursing Pathway
The ADN program is a 16-month program that allows students to complete the program without taking a semester off. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination.
LVN & Paramedic Bridge Pathway
The ADN Bridge program is designed for students who already hold a valid, unencumbered LVN or Paramedic license and have one year of practice experience. The 12-month program recognizes students' prior knowledge and experience. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination.
Licensed Vocational Nursing Pathway
The VN program is a 12-month program that allows students to complete the program without taking a semester off. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.
