The Legal Assisting/Paralegal program prepares students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work under the direction of attorneys while assisting in the completion of legal tasks and case preparation.
Graduates may find employment with law firms, governmental agencies, title companies, banks, utility companies and court systems.
The program includes a two-semester certificate and a four-semester Associate of Applied Science degree. Courses are offered in person, through live remote video streaming, and online to provide flexible learning options.
Students pursuing legal assisting or paralegal studies may prepare for careers in legal research, case management, document preparation, compliance and administrative legal support.
