This state-approved 7-hour course meets the annual continuing education requirement for renewing a Texas Medication Aide certification. Designed for currently licensed Medication Aides, the course reviews medication administration procedures, updates on state regulations, and best practices to ensure safe and effective patient care.
The course is offered online year-round for flexible completion and on campus six times a year on Fridays for those who prefer in-person instruction. Upon completion, participants will meet the continuing education requirement for license renewal through the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.
