Student Support Services: Food Pantry & Basic Needs Resources

At Kilgore College, we understand that students often juggle many responsibilities, and we recognize that food insecurity can be a real concern. To help support our students, KC offers food pantry services with nonperishable food items and limited personal hygiene products for commuter students in need. (Students living in residence halls are required to have a meal plan through KC Dining Services.)

Food Pantry Locations

Kilgore Campus
The food pantry is located in the Devall Student Center. For assistance, please visit the Visitor Center in Devall. The pantry is open Monday through Friday during regular college business hours (when classes are in session). To qualify, students must be currently enrolled at KC and classified as commuter students.

Longview Campus
Students at the Longview campus can access food pantry services by visiting the front office in the Hendrix Building for more information.

Additional Support Services

The Instructional Student Support office is available to help students with a variety of basic needs beyond food assistance. If you’re facing challenges, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help. Services may include help with:

  • Child care resources
  • Textbook support

  • And more
