Business Administration

Associate's Degree. Transfer. Certificate.

About Business Administration

This curriculum leads to an Associate of Arts degree with a Field of Study in Business Administration. The program is designed to prepare students to continue toward a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with major fields that may include accounting, finance, marketing, management and management information systems.

All business administration pathways complete the same foundational coursework during the first two years, leading to the associate degree. This coursework is designed to transfer toward a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the four-year institution of the student’s choice.

While all business administration students pursue the same general degree path initially, specific university requirements and major-field expectations may vary. Students are encouraged to work closely with advisors and prospective transfer institutions to ensure a smooth transition.

While attending KC, I feel like I received the best education from instructors that truly cared about my success in the "real world." Once I graduated from KC, I went on to Stephen F. Austin State University and earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy. I can assure you that master's degree was built on the educational foundation that I received at KC. I am now in the process of obtaining my CPA license while working for a local CPA and I am also an adjunct instructor at KC. I strive to give my students the same quality education that I received.
