Tickets are now available for Little Women, a special co-production between the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Kilgore College Theatre that brings together professional actors and KC theatre students. Performances will be held Dec. 4–7 in the Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore College campus.
Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel has been adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill in a modern retelling focused on themes of identity, societal expectations and the challenges of growing up — especially for women. The production is directed by Meaghan and Matthew Simpson and features Texas Shakespeare Festival favorites alongside KC theatre majors.
All performances will take place in the Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore College campus.
