About the program

The student will learn principles of medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set and HCPCS Level II. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical coding for a physician’s office. This course assures a broad knowledge in reviewing and assigning the correct procedure and diagnosis codes for professional (physician) services. Upon completion of the course student with be able to sit for certification exam wit AAPC, certification exam is included with tuition.
