KC set to award 512 degrees, certificates to graduates at Friday’s commencement ceremonies

Kilgore College will held two commencements May 10 that included 463 graduates with 512 degrees and certificates awarded.

 

The 2 p.m. ceremony was for students graduating with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or students earning a certificate.

 

At 6 p.m., the graduation was for students earning an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) or an Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degree.

KC will present Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for alumni, student success

In lieu of graduation speakers Friday, KC will present Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for Alumni Success and Blue Ribbon Medals of Excellence for Student Success.

At the 2 p.m. ceremony, the recipient of the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Alumni Success will be Jack Moore; and Josh Selleck will be honored with the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Student Success.

For the 6 p.m. ceremony, recipients of the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Alumni Success will be Lane Johnson; and the East Texas Council of Governments (ETCOG).
