KC names Dr. Brett Haduch Vice President of Student Services

Kilgore College has named Dr. Brett Haduch as vice president of student services. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in enrollment management and student support at community colleges across Texas.

Haduch most recently served as the inaugural dean of student success for the Online College at Houston City College, where he provided leadership for enrollment and student support services, including admissions, advising, counseling, career and transfer services, student life and tutoring.

In that role, he oversaw strategic initiatives focused on increasing student enrollment, retention and completion, while managing departmental budgets and collaborating with senior leadership to advance student success goals.

Prior to his work in Houston, Haduch held progressively responsible student services leadership positions at Alvin College, Navarro College and Collin College, where he directed counseling, accessibility services, enrollment support and compliance initiatives, including Title IX and ADA coordination.

Dr. Haduch earned a Doctor of Philosophy in higher education from the University of North Texas, where he also completed a community college leadership certificate. He holds master’s degrees in addiction studies and community counseling and is a licensed professional counselor in Texas.

“As we continue to strengthen student support services at Kilgore College, Dr. Haduch brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to student success,” said Dr. Staci Martin, interim president of KC. “His leadership and collaborative approach will help ensure our students have the resources and guidance they need to achieve their academic and career goals.”

As vice president of student services at KC, Dr. Haduch will oversee programs and initiatives designed to support student access, engagement and completion, while strengthening services that promote holistic student success.
