Enrollment is now open for Kilgore College’s Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) program following a brief pause caused by nationwide federal funding cuts in 2025.
The program recently resumed services and welcomed prospective students at the KC-Longview campus, 300 S. High St. in Longview, for its first GED enrollment session of 2026. The session had originally been scheduled earlier in the week but was postponed due to adverse travel conditions.
“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away. We would be honored to walk with you on your journey to excellence,” said Dr. Nicole Jimmerson, director of Adult Education and Literacy at KC.
