We are delighted that you are interested in getting a head start on your college education by participating in the Kilgore College Dual Credit program. Dual Credit students regularly make up almost 60% of KC students.

What is Dual Credit?

This scholarship provides assistance for graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their educational journey at Kilgore College for Fall 2024. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 15 hours of dual credit in high school with a GPA of at least 2.0. This scholarship is funded by donations raised from the MLK Scholarship Breakfast that takes place each January. The completed application should be emailed to Mrs. Stacie Ervin at servin@kilgore.edu. MLK Dual Credit transition scholarship

This scholarship provides assistance for graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their educational journey at Kilgore College for Fall 2026.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, students must have completed at least 15 hours of dual credit in high school with a GPA of at least 2.0.

HOW TO APPLY:

The completed application (link below) should be emailed to Janet Sledge at jsledge@kilgore.edu.

PRIORITY DEADLINE:

The priority application deadline is July 20, 2026.

FUNDING:

This scholarship is funded by donations raised from the MLK Scholarship Breakfast that takes place each January.

1098-T Information
If you are a current student, you can view the document within AccessKC. Once logged in, go to “Pay My Bill,” then you’ll be directed to the Transact website. On the left side, there is the Tax Forms option and that is where your 1098-T will be located.
 
If you are not a current student, you can login to access your form through this link.  If you do not remember your credentials, you can call the Transact number at (888) 381-8054.
 
The KC Business Office will also mail the form to the address on file.
