The Kilgore College Department of Music will present its fall choral concert, Songs of Earth and Sky, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus.
The concert will feature performances by the Kilgore College Chorale and KC Connection, under the direction of Peter Cunningham. Special guest performers from area high schools will also join the program.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Songs of Earth and Sky will showcase a diverse mix of choral works that celebrate the beauty and wonder of the natural world through music.
“This concert brings together singers from across our community to share music that reflects the world around us — its majesty, its mystery, and our connection to it,” Cunningham said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform alongside local high school musicians and celebrate the joy of singing together.”
