Free program designed for students entering college for the first time.

Free program offered to help first-time college students

Did you not do as well as you expected to do on your testing? Could you use some guided practice on writing the essay or on grammar?  Could you do better on the reading if you just had some extra practice?  Do you need to brush up on your math skills?  Our Summer Bridge Program II is just the thing for you!  Meet with an instructor for three weeks to get guidance, feedback and get the chance to re-take the TSI assessment FREE of CHARGE!

Program Details:

  • When: July 1-18, 2019
  • Where: Randolph C. Watson Library (Kilgore campus)
  • Who it is for: Students who have already taken the TSI assessment, have attended summer orientation, and have registered for fall classes at KC.
  • Cost: Free of charge but space is limited


  • Math session: 10:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. (Monday-Thursday only) in the Canterbury Engineering & Science Building


  • Retest at Thursday, July 18, 2019


Only students who fill out an application and are contacted by the department will be allowed to attend the sessions.
