College Work-Study Application

About work-study jobs:

Typically, all positions are advertised “open until filled.”  Applications will not be kept on file once a position is filled.

The Federal College Work-Study Program is a federally-funded, campus-based financial aid program with a limited amount of funds for students who have documented financial need and who want to earn part of their educational expenses while attending college.

Additional information is available online at Students must be eligible for financial aid, show unmet need and be enrolled in classes to qualify.

Departments will handle the interview process for their position(s). Once offered a position, students must consent to a background check prior to being hired and completing hiring paperwork. Students must submit the consent for the background check within 7 calendar days (1 week), or the background check request will be voided. If hired, students must complete all hiring paperwork prior to beginning work and must provide required identification documents, as well as direct deposit information. Students must complete hiring paperwork within 10 calendar days, or paperwork will be voided and supervisors will continue their search for other applicants.
