Get advised and registered for classes at STAR Days!

At Kilgore College, we'll treat you like a star. During STAR Days, students can complete everything they need to do before starting classes! You can talk with an academic advisor, register for classes, and/or meet with someone from the Financial Aid office. You can also get your student ID card and parking sticker, take a campus tour and talk with departments like TRIO, Scholarships, Disability Services, Campus Life (housing) and Instructional Student Support.

Is there any additional testing information that I need to know before I attend STAR Days?

Unless you are TSI exempt, TSI or alternative test scores must be received at Kilgore College before a student can be advised or registered for classes. To see if you are exempt because of STAAR, TAKS, SAT or ACT scores, you should check with our counseling office at (903) 983-8206 or the Student Success Office At (903) 988-7491.

The Kilgore College Testing Center offers walk-in TSI testing during KC STAR Days (except Saturday, June 12th due to ACT testing). Please see contact the Testing Center for more information.

I have applied, but I don't have a Student ID number yet. What do I do?

If you have applied to Kilgore College, but have not received an acceptance letter in the mail with your Student ID number, contact the Registrar’s Office at (903) 983-8606.
