Does KC offer an English as a Second Language (ESOL)?
Kilgore College does not currently offer ESOL. International students are subject to the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI-Assessment). Additional English proficiency testing may be required prior to registration.
How do I check the status of my application?
Visit www.kilgore.edu and click the AccessKC link located in the Quick Links section of the website on the left side of the screen. Next to User Name please enter the first 4 letters of your last name, the first four letters of your first name, and the last four digits of your Kilgore College student ID number. Your password is the word Student and your 4-digit month and day of birth (Example: For birthdate April 7, password is Student0407).
How should I prepare to depart from my home country?
When you are ready to travel to the United States, please bring your passport, visa document and most importantly the I-20 form with you to your departing airport. Carry these documents with you. Do not pack them away in your suitcase. You will need to present them to the US immigration officials when you get off the plane.

Are students required to live on campus?
No, KC students are not required to live on campus, although many students choose to do so because of the convenience of on-campus living. Campus housing offer the ultimate in convenience to help you get the most out of your experience at Kilgore College. Please visit the KC Housing website for more information. To apply to reside on-campus please fill out the online housing application accessible on your AccessKC account.

Are there any International Clubs/Organizations I can join?
Yes! KC offers a vast array of clubs so students can get involved. Students are encouraged to participate in the International Student Club to help encourage and promote goodwill among international students, to increase awareness and appreciation of other cultures, and to provide an opportunity to develop lifelong friendships.
