KILGORE, TX -- The Kilgore College men went into halftime down by only one point to Trinity Valley Community College Feb. 8 but were outscored 40-23 in the second half, losing to the Cardinals 82-63.
The loss marks the fourth-straight loss with the Rangers' last win coming Jan. 25 versus Bossier Parish.
KC was led in scoring by Chad Bowie and Cheikh Diallo, each scoring 14 points. Davon Newton scored 13 for KC and Samory Gueye scored 10.
The game's leading scorer was TVCC's Amaad Wainwright with 20 points, earning a double-double by adding 10 rebounds.
With the loss, KC drops to 12-11 overall and 3-10 in Region XIV play.
KC's next game is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at home versus Tyler Junior College.
