TJC defeats Kilgore men, 68-52

KILGORE, TX -- Tyler Junior College's Brian Warren hit a three-pointer to make the score 35-30 in favor of the Apaches going into halftime.  That pretty much set the tone for the second half.

Warren led all scorers with 22 points.

KC briefly took the lead in the second half with just under 13 minutes left but TJC quickly answered by going on a 20-7 run.

KC was led in scoring by Chad Bowie with 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Daytone Jennings had 12 points and Darrian Grays had 10 for the Rangers.

With the win, TJC improves to 16-2 overall and 6-2 in Region XIV play.

KC drops to 11-6 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

KC's next game is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Bossier City versus Bossier Parish Community College.
