San Jacinto knocks off KC men on the road, 74-55

PASADENA, TX -- The Kilgore College men went cold in the second half resulting in a 74-55 conference loss to the San Jacinto Ravens Jan. 7.

KC was only down 5 points at the half, 40-35, but went through a long scoreless streak after halftime and were outscored in the second half by the Ravens, 34-20.

Jaleel Wheeler and Michael Thomas were KC's high-scorers for KC with 11 points each.  Jonathan Milligan scored 10 and Miles Banks scored 8.  Other scorers for the Rangers were Bacari Copeland with 6, Alassane Kah with 5 and Miles Banks with 4.

With the loss, the Rangers sit at 10-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play.  The Ravens improve to 12-3 overall and 5-1 in Region XIV play.

The Rangers' next game is a 4 p.m. tipoff in Kilgore on Saturday, Jan. 10, versus Jacksonville College.
