Rangers run away with 20-point win against Panola

KILGORE, TX -- The Kilgore College Rangers are gaining momentum at just the right time of the season with the regional tournament just around the corner.  The men handily defeated Panola College Feb. 24 at home, 80-60, to give KC its second-straight conference victory.

KC led Panola (18-10, 10-7 Region XIV) by as many as 23 points in the second half and made 46 percent of its shots in the game.

The Rangers (15-11, 7-10 Region XIV) were led in scoring by James Conteh who came off the bench to score 15 points.  Conteh was 4-of-4 from the three-point line.

KC's Chad Bowie scored 13 and Malachi Davidson scored 12 points.

Panola had three players in double figures with Juwan Williams scoring 16 points, Shandon Goldman scoring 13 points and Jeremy Roscoe with 11.

KC's next game is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Navarro College in Corsicana.
