CARTHAGE, TX -- Panola College won its eighth-straight game Feb. 25, defeating the Kilgore College men, 74-64, handing the Rangers their eighth-straight loss.
Panola hit 10 three-pointers in the contest and held the Rangers to a 37 percent shooting percentage.
KC did make up ground in the second half, being down by as many as 21 points as one point in the game.
Panola's Marion Taylor led all scorers with 16 points, earning a double by adding 11 rebounds. Eric McGill and Devyn Wilson each scored 15 points for Panola and Keondre Byers scored 13 points.
KC's Ndene Gueye was the team's high-scorer with 15 points, earning a double-double with 11 rebounds.
With the loss, KC drops to 12-15 overall and 3-14 in conference play.
KC will play Wednesday, March 1, at home against Navarro College at 7 p.m.
