Rangers, Lady Rangers sweep Coastal Bend on the road

BEEVILLE, TX -- The Rangers evened up their conference mark at 1-1 and the Lady Rangers moved to 2-0 in Region XIV play with the sweep over Coastal Bend College on Tuesday, Nov. 23.

KC maintained a sizeable lead most of the game, defeating CBC 61-46 in their first road game of the season.  The Lady Rangers held on for a 73-70 decision.

The men improve to 8-1 on the season.  The ladies improve their record to 7-1.

KC's next game is a non-conference matchup 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, in Kilgore versus East Texas Flight.  They will resume conference play 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Kilgore versus Lamar State-Port Arthur.

The Lady Rangers will travel to Plano Friday and Saturday to play in the Collin College Classic.  They will face Seminole State at noon Friday, Nov. 27, and will play Collin College 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28.

The ladies will resume conference play 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, in Kilgore versus Blinn College.
