Rangers get road win against Bossier Parish, 72-63

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Kilgore College Rangers led by 10 points at halftime and maintained the lead throughout the second half, defeating the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers, 72-63, in a good road win Feb. 11.

KC was led in scoring by Bakari Copeland who had 18 points.  Jonathan Milligan was 6-of-10 with 3 three-pointers to score 17 points.  

Mike Thomas was also in double figures for KC with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

The Cavaliers' arsenal was the duo of Gregg Pollins and Chantez Chambers who scored 20 and 18 points, respectively.

The turnover margin was equal between the two teams with 17 each.

With the win, KC improves to 17-8 overall and 9-6 in Region XIV play.  

They will travel to Paris Saturday, Feb. 14, to face the PJC Dragons.  Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
