Rangers claim regular season title, No. 1 seed in upcoming R14 tournament

The Rangers finished the regular season with a 27-2 (17-2) record, the regular season championship and will enter as the No. 1 seed at the  Region XIV Basketball Tournament in Jacksonville.

KC finished the season with an 81-72 victory over Paris Junior College at Masters Gymnasium (read game story).

With the No. 1 seed, KC earns a bye in the regional tournament for the first round. They will play at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 3, versus the winner of Bossier Parish/Angelina who play Tuesday.

All tournament games will be held in John Alexander Gymnasium (the former Lon Morris College gym. )
