Point guard Chad Bowie signs with Rangers for 2016-17 season

Chad Bowie signed April 13 with Kilgore College to play basketball for the 2016-17 season under head coach Brian Hoberecht.

Bowie, a 5'11" standout guard for Fort Bend Elkins High School (Missouri City, TX), led the Knights to a 36-3 season this year, reaching the Texas UIL Class 5A Championship game for the first time in school history.

In the championship game he scored 22 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the field, going 12-for-14 from the free throw line.
