Navarro upends Kilgore College, 52-17

CORSICANA, TX —— Kilgore College had a rough day at the office Oct. 14, losing to conference opponent Navarro College, 52-17.

KC only managed a safety in the first half, going into halftime down to the Bulldogs, 36-2.

Navarro held KC to fewer than 60 yards of offense and forced seven Ranger punts in the first half.

KC scored its first offensive touchdown with 8:42 left in the third quarter on a seven-yard pass from Jonathan Frazier to JT Mackey. The two-point conversion was successful on a pass from Frazier to Zecharius Nash-Kelly to make the score 45-10.

KC scored once more on a 42-yard touchdown pass from Frazier to Kevin Jones late in the third quarter.

With the loss KC drops to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
