Lady Rangers, Trinity Valley must forfeit next two games

KILGORE, TX -- The Trinity Valley Community College versus Kilgore College Lady Rangers game ended Jan. 25 in the third quarter after a scuffle on the court cleared both benches.

Trinity Valley was up 43-28 with 6:25 left in the third quarter over KC when players from both teams cleared their benches and entered the court, resulting in the disqualification of players on both teams. 

After the disqualification of all players on both teams, the game was reviewed by Region XIV officials and a both teams will be awarded a "no contest" for the game and must forfeit their next two games.

For KC, they will forfeit its Saturday home game versus San Jacinto College and its game in Brenham Feb. 1 versus Blinn College.

After the mandatory forfeits, the Lady Rangers will be 13-7 overalll and 5-6 in conference play.  TVCC will be 17-4 overall and 9-2 in conference play.
