Lady Rangers lose to Bossier Parish 62-45 on the road

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Lady Rangers didn't score points for the first eight minutes of the second half after only trailing the Bossier Parish Lady Cavaliers by one point at halftime.  With only six players suited up due to injuries, the KC women just ran out of gas in the second half, losing to BPCC, 62-45, Feb. 11 in Louisiana.

Imaobong Akpan was a bright spot for KC, scoring 22 points and grabbing eight rebounds.  Darreion Clark was also in double figures for KC with 12 points.

For Bossier Parish, La'Dencia Johnson came off the bench to score 20 points while Diamond Willis added 10 points for the Lady Cavs.

With the loss, the KC women drop to 6-16 overall and 3-12 in Region XIV play.

They will travel to Paris Saturday, Feb. 14, to face the Lady Dragons.  Tip off is set for 2 p.m.
