TYLER, TX -- Led offensively by Darrian Grays, the Kilgore College Rangers moved to 2-0 on the young season Nov. 3 with an 86-53 victory over Southwestern Christian College in the Chris Booker Classic at Tyler Junior College.
KC had four other players in double figures with Demiere Brown scoring 12 points, Malachi Davidson and Davon Newton each scoring 11 points and Daytone Jennings with 10 points.
Grays was 5-of-7 from the three point line while Davidson was a perfect 3-for-3 on three-pointers.
SWCC was led in scoring by Trevic Atkins with 15 points followed by Tony Dorsey with 11 points.
The Rangers will play 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, back in the classic at TJC versus Brookhaven College.
