KC mourns loss of instructor Dr. Rob Williams

He was a favorite among students, known for his wit and sense of humor - or as one student described him online, “Dr. Frank R. (Rob) Williams was fall-out-of-your-chair-laughing funny.”

Williams, longtime psychology instructor at Kilgore College, passed away Aug. 31 in Kilgore.

His wit and humor will be missed by his KC family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl Williams of Kilgore; daughter, Rebecca Williams of Longview; grandchildren, Chase Rogers, Tyler Wilbanks, Loghan Rogers and Mariah Williams all of Longview.

A celebration of life for Williams was held Sept. 2 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
