KC men open up 2017 with win over Houston CC

KILGORE, TX -- The Rangers started off sluggishly but ended up with four players in double figures with a 91-59 non-conference win over Houston Community College Jan. 2.

KC was led in scoring by Tre Evans and Davon Newton who both scored 17 points.

Ndene Gueye scored 13 points for KC with seven rebounds and Cheikh Diallo scored 12 points.

Houston CC was led in scoring by Darryl Thomas with 14 points.

The Rangers' next game is 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, when they will resume conference play versus Blinn College.  Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. in Masters Gymnasium.
