KC men defeat LSC-Tomball, 79-54

KILGORE, TX --  The Kilgore College men's basketball team got back into the win column Nov. 16 with a 79-54 decision over the Lone Star College-Tomball club team.

KC had four players in double figures with Michael Asante scoring 21 points to lead all Rangers.

Rodrigue Tha Andela scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Demiere Brown scored 13 points and Jairus Stevens scored 10 points for KC. 

The Rangers shot an impressive 62 percent from the field.

John Williams led LSC-Tomball with 13 points and Carlos DeLatorre had 11 for the Timberwolves.

With the win, KC improves to 4-2 for the season.

The Rangers' next game is 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Tyler Junior College's Wagstaff Gymnasium versus Cedar Valley College.
