KC men defeat Jacksonville to even up conference record at 1-1

KILGORE, TX -- Kilgore College's Ndene Gueye and Chad Bowie combined for 45 points Dec. 3 to help lead the Rangers past Jacksonville College, 87-82.

Gueye scored 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds while Evans earned a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Jacksonville's Ben Nakwassah led all scorers with 27 points.

Freshman Chad Bowie was also in double figures for the Rangers with 13 points and added 8 assists.

The Rangers improve to 8-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

KC's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, versus Lee College in Baytown.
