KC Men defeat Houston CC 93-50, will play Blinn Saturday at home

KILGORE, TX -- The Kilgore College men upended the Houston Community College Northwest Eagles 93-50 in Masters Gymnasium Dec. 31 with the help of 21 points by Bakari Copeland.

Copeland was 5-of-6 from the three point line and added 8 rebounds in the one-sided Ranger victory.

Two other players were in double figures for KC with Michael Thomas scoring 17 and Alassane Kah knocking down 16 points.

Miles Banks had a good day rebounding with 10 boards and six points.

KC was up on the Eagles 53-16 at the half. High scorer for HCCNW was Sunny Androk who had 13 points.

With the win, the Rangers improve to 10-4 on the season.

They will play conference opponent Blinn College Saturday, Jan. 3, with a 4 p.m. tipoff in Masters Gymnasium.
