KC men defeat Cedar Valley College, 92-71

KILGORE, TX -- The Kilgore College Rangers closed out the KC Classic Nov. 18 with a 92-71 victory over the Cedar Valley College Suns.

The Rangers had four players in double figures and shot 54 percent from the field.

Darrian Grays led all Ranger scorers with 18 points, knocking down 6-of-11 three-pointers.

Chad Bowie came off the bench to score 16 points and KC's Lansana Nwosu earned a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Daytone Jennings scored 11 points.

Cedar Valley's Desmond Kennedy led all scorers with 26 points.  Chantz Williams was also in double figures for the Suns with 13 points and Amiariye Blunson and J.F. Thomas, Jr. each scored 10 points for Cedar Valley.

Tyler Junior College opened up the classic with a 112-68 victory over Lone Star College-Tomball.

With the win KC improves to 6-1 and will play next 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Masters Gymnasium versus East Texas Flight.

The Rangers open up conference play 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, against Angelina College.
