Bossier Parish men rally to defeat Rangers, 75-66

KILGORE, TX -- Desmond McDaniel hit a three pointer for the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers with eight minutes left in the game Feb. 17 to gain the lead over Kilgore College, 57-56. 

KC never got the lead back.

After a BPCC turnover, KC's Daytone Jennings was fouled and made one-of-two free throws to tie the score up at 57.

Bossier (15-11, 8-8 Region XIV) responded with a three-pointer by Zach Cummings to put the Cavs up, 60-57, and KC just never got its momentum back.

KC (13-11, 5-10 Region XIV) was led in scoring by Chad Bowie with 21 points (4-of-4 from the three point line all in the first half).  Malachi Davidson was also in double figures for KC with 13 points.

Bossier had four players in double figures with Brandon Moore leading the way with 22 points, Mubarak Muhammed with 14 points, Desmond McDaniel with 13 points and Tim Collins with 10.

KC will travel Wednesday, Feb. 21, to Paris to play Paris Junior College.  Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
