Baroque and Classical Piano Festival finalists announced

Five finalists were selected March 30 at the Kilgore College Baroque and Classical Piano Festival, a piano competition open to elementary to high school-age students from around East Texas.

Contestants performed original piano compositions from the Baroque and Classical eras.

Judges then selected outstanding students to perform in a “Winner’s Recital” and awarded trophies to each of the finalists.
