Kilgore College’s Corrosion Technology Program received a $5,000 donation Dec. 12 from American Innovations out of Austin.
The money will be used to fund scholarships for students in the corrosion program.
Richard Smalling, CEO of American Innovations, was on-hand to present the check to Kenya Ray, KC’s Corrosion Technology instructor.
American Innovations, based in Austin, provides products and services to customers to safely and efficiently manage critical operating equipment, including the world’s pipeline infrastructure.
The company’s solutions are used by virtually every oil and gas company in North America to gather and store information efficiently and comply with regulations that protect people and the environment.
