Business Leadership Skills Certificate:

The Business Leadership Skills Certificate program is a series of eight courses that help develop leadership & management skills.  Each course is 18 hours and is very reasonably priced. The program is designed to be completed in just one semester. Participants who complete this certificate will receive a “Marketable Skills Achievement Award” in addition to individual course certificates. Individuals who successfully complete this certificate will receive a Marketable Skills Achievement Award.

Accounting & Finance for Non-Financial Managers

This course places emphasis on the development and use of accounting information to support managerial decision-making processes in manufacturing, service, and for-profit settings.  Topics include managing internal controls concerning cost and budgeting, analyzing profit and loss statements, recognizing and correcting financial problems, and utilizing formulas to determine organizational profitability.  Textbook required.

Spanish for the Workplace

(FRNL 1001 – Occupational Specific Foreign Language)

This Command Spanish® course is intended for non-Spanish supervisors in the workplace who would like to communicate with their Spanish- speaking employees.  Upon completion, participants will be able to use Spanish to do some or all of the following:  compliment employees; discuss employment issues including hiring and dismissal; discuss time and schedule issues; discuss work rules and regulations; respond to medical emergencies; and address safety issues.  Class limit: 20.   No prior knowledge of Spanish necessary.   Training manual provided.

There is no limit to the numerous voices shouting out the critical need for quality customer service.  Yet, time after time, we see a failure in its application.  This course goes beyond the abstract and offers piece-by-piece, step-by-step, information to individuals seeking to provide quality customer service.  The premise of this course is twofold: quality customer service is the key to success for any employee with customer service responsibility, and quality customer service is the foundation upon which an organization’s success and profits are built.  No textbook required.
