According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the national median salary for Automotive Technology is $34,550. Local salaries will vary.
Graduates going into business for themselves or in management in large dealerships may make much more.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Graduates of the two-year program earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Two shorter certificate programs are also available.

People in the U.S. spend $300 billion a year on automobile purchases and maintenance. The career opportunities are endless.

Studies show a steady increase of available jobs for entry level technicians, about 350 jobs in the next 3 to 5 years in the East Texas area alone.

There are a large number of occupations where a good understanding of an automobile and/or the automotive industry would be a great asset.

Outstanding. Since 1999, 100 percent of graduates have been placed in jobs in the automotive industry.
