"Kilgore College is one of the best values I have found. The
wonderful caring instructors, convenient locations, more than 100 university
transfer and applied studies programs and especially the low cost of
tuition make it a real bargain.
As an In-District resident, I paid only about a quarter of the tuition & fees
I would have paid at a 4-year college for the very same courses. I want an education, not a lifetime of repaying student loans.”

According to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Kilgore College has
one of the lowest costs per credit hour of any college or university in Texas.
Tuition and fees average about a quarter of the cost of a
public university and less than 10% of the costs of a private university. A full year—30
credit hours—costs in-district students just 30 semester credits $1290 and all other Texas
residents just $2700. And with the state Core Curriculum, courses successfully
completed at Kilgore College are guaranteed to transfer to Texas public universities.
