ACCUPLACER:
Computerized placement test. Call or come in-person to set up an appointment at least 24 hours in advance from the testing date. The ACCUPLACER exam is given on both the Kilgore and Longview campuses. The testing fee is $40 for students enrolling at KC. Non-KC students pay $50. All students needing partial testing fee will be $20. Pre-registration is required and payments must be made to the Cashier's Office on the Kilgore campus.

CLEP:
Testing Center-Kilgore Campus ONLY is an open CLEP testing center and offers all CLEP examinations each testing session. Candidates seeking credit for another institution other than KC are encourage to check with that institution to see if CLEP credit will be accepted. If you have a minimum of 15 hours at KC this test could be beneficial to you . See KC Catalog for the list of CLEP exams for which KC awards credit to. GED:
Pre-registration is required. For students taking the whole test a $80 non-refundable test fee needs to be paid and for re-test a $15/per test section fee needs to be paid at the Cashiers Office-Kilgore Campus. The GED is given on both the Kilgore and Longview campuses.
GED Retest - A $15/ per test fee.
GED Transcript - A $5 transcript fee.

Health Occupation Basic Entrance Test) is a computerized assessment that consists of the following subjects: Essential Math Skills, Reading Comprehension for Science Textbooks and Reading Rate, Critical Thinking Appraisal, Test-taking Skills, Stress Levels, Social Interaction Profile, Learning Styles, Composite Scores. Scores are available immediately following the test. The cost of the exam is $50.

PHLEBOTOMY:
Appointments should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance (1 day in advance). There is a $30 fee for testing that must be paid at the Cashiers Office-Kilgore Campus. The exam covers Reading Comprehension and takes 45 minutes to complete. Candidates should consult with the Continuing Education Department regarding acceptance into the program.

Quick THEA:
Paper and Pencil placement test. Administered on the Kilgore Campus only. Pre-Registration is required and the $59 testing fee should be paid to the Cashiers Office- Kilgore Campus. Students needing accommodations should take the THEA Saturday exam or ACCUPLACER test.
