to the Kilgore College Tech Prep page. If you are a currently enrolled at Kilgore
College in an applied program and took content enhanced (articulated) courses
while in high school, you may have already earned Kilgore College credit.
Plus, you will pay no tuition for those courses. There’s just a small one-time
transfer fee of $25 for up to 12 credits. Talk about finding a treasure! To discover
if you have hidden credits, contact the Tech Prep office on the Kilgore College
Campus.

1. High school graduates who graduated in 2002 or later who completed specific
content enhanced career/technology course in high school may be eligible for
college credit after enrolling in technical programs at Kilgore College.
2. Some articulated courses are honored statewide; others apply only between
your high school and Kilgore.
3. Credit is awarded AFTER you enroll in a technical program at Kilgore College
AND complete a required number of regular (non-developmental) courses.
4. There is no tuition! All you pay is a one-time fee of $25 to cover a transcript
posting fee.
5. There are minimum grade requirements and some classes require prerequisite
courses.
