Games broadcast live for FREE on Internet

KC's football games will be broadcast live over the internet on College TV Ticket free this year.  The broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to kickoff for each game. The Web site address is www.collegetvticket.com, and a new account is required to view the games, but all games are free to view this year. This year's web schedule

2010 Play-by-Play Broadcasters
 

Manny Almanza begins his 14th season as play-by-play voice for the Kilgore College athletic programs. During this time, he has had the opportunity to broadcast many of the recent success stories in Ranger history. The list includes eight Region XIV basketball tournaments, one Region XIV men’s regular season championship, four NJCAA bowl games, three SWJCFC conference championships and the undefeated season of 2001. While in East Texas, Almanza has had other sports casting opportunities come his way including high school basketball, baseball and softball playoff games for various schools. Additionally, he begins his eighth season of broadcasting high school football in East Texas, and his third as the Internet play-by-play voice for Spring Hill High School in Longview. Almanza is the Coordinator of Marketing Operations and Outreach for KC, serving both the marketing and recruitment offices.

Mark Fried enters his 11th season as color commentator for Kilgore College football broadcasts. He played quarterback at Marshall High School, but gave up football to pursue an education in music at East Texas State University. Fried spent eight seasons as color commentator for Daingerfield High School football on KEGG-AM, while serving as the minister of music for First Baptist Church of Daingerfield. Fried has witnessed many highlights during his time covering Ranger football, with the 2001 undefeated season being the most memorable to date. Fried currently serves as the minister of music and senior adults at Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore.

Ronda Callaway, a native of Kilgore, is starting her first season with the KC Sports Network. Ronda graduated from Kilgore High School and is currently a sophomore at KC, majoring in Business Administration. She will graduate with an Associate's of Arts in May 2010. After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Texas at Tyler. Ronda works as a student assistant at the KC Office of Admissions and Records and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta.
