The Office Professional

Program prepares students to work in an office environment. Emphasis is placed on computer applications and office procedures. The program consists of an associate's degree with two options and three certificates. The 30-semester hour general certificate is the basis for the two advanced certificates. All of the certificates are part of the associate's degree.

The Office Professional-Medical

Program offers students the opportunity to complete a two semester professional general certificate and then add and additional one semester medical certificate which includes medical transcription and medical administrative procedures.

hat kind of salary can graduates?

According to the U.S. Bureau fo Labor Statistics, the national median salary for Office Professional is $27,450 and for the Office ProfessionalMedical is $28,090. Local salaries will vary.


How long does it take to complete
the program?


After the completion of the 30-hour general certificate, students may continue in one of two advanced certificates: the 15-hour specialist certificate or the 15-hour medical certificate. Each of these certificates can be awarded only after the 30-hour General Certificate has been earned. Associate of Applied Science degree takes 63 semester hours.
