Three Lady Rangers sign with four-year colleges
lady rangers signees

Three Lady Rangers signed with four-year colleges in the spring of 2011 to continue their athletic and academic careers.

Sophomore Alexis Andrews signed with the Grambling State University Tigers to continue her athletic and academic career. Andrews averaged 8 points per game and 7 rebounds in her sophomore year with the Lady Rangers, playing in 25 games this season. Grambling competes in the NCAA Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Sophomore Lady Ranger Rashida Young signed to play with Texas A&M University Kingsville. Young led the Lady Rangers this season in field goal percentage (47.6), rebounds (255), average rebounds per game (9.8), blocked shots (21), steals (49) and total minutes played (773) -- in 24 games played.

Sophomore Lady Ranger Lily Abreu signed with Arkansas Tech on April 25. Abreu led the Lady Rangers this season in three point percentage (39.1), number of field goals made (107), total points (333) and average points per game (13.9) -- playing in 22 games this season.
